  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and drive the growth of the NSW business unit in line with the company vision.
  • Lead the delivery of high-profile projects, leveraging expertise in cost planning and management.
  • Ensure all deliverables are of exceptional quality and produced in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of governance and quality assurance.
  • Manage client expectations through excellent communication, applying commercial acumen to projects and supporting clients in decision-making processes.
  • Contribute to the improvement of service offerings for the Government Super Sector within the Sydney Cost Management Team.
  • Develop and implement winning bids, expand brand awareness, and generate new opportunities for the business unit.
  • Manage a team of senior cost managers and cost managers, overseeing projects' profitability, invoicing, and commercial performance.
  • Externalize within the local property market to raise company profile and secure new opportunities.
  • Play an active role in bid writing and business administration, both internally and externally.
  • Take ownership of workload and utilization planning, attracting local talent and growing the local team.
  • Requirements:
  • A recognized degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Sound experience in cost planning in Education and Healthcare government projects, with a focus on consultancy roles.
  • At least 10 years of experience in cost management roles, with a proven track record of managing clients, contractors, and consultants.
  • Preference given to RICS and/or AIQS accreditation, with CostX experience a significant advantage.
