Compensation and Rewards Specialist

- Provide specialist benchmarking, job evaluations and remuneration recommendations for executives to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable legislation, regulations and internal standards to maintain a high level of corporate governance.
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of reward strategies across the Group, including remuneration, recognition, benefits, superannuation, and insurances to support business objectives.
- Prepare employee equity offers, conduct role pay and gender pay analytics, and support diversity reporting to promote a culture of inclusion and equality.
- Manage remuneration budgets and forecasts, deliver Suncorp’s share plans, and oversee the relationship with share services providers to ensure seamless execution.
- Implement new benefits and review the effectiveness of existing ones to continuously improve the employee experience and drive engagement.
- 5+ years of experience in advising and delivering on reward and benefits policies and practices, with sound knowledge of current trends, legislation, and taxation.
- Proven consultation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management skills, advanced Excel capabilities for analysing large and complex data sets, and the ability to research, extract, and communicate insights clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to be proactive, take initiative, manage ambiguity, and understand, interpret, and apply policies, procedures, and guidelines effectively.
