About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Head of Rewards to join our team at Canva. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping our global rewards strategy, leading and growing a high-performing team, and innovating compensation and benefits programs that reflect the diversity of our global team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive rewards strategy that aligns with Canva's mission and business goals.
  • Lead and manage a team of reward managers and analysts, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure their growth and success.
  • Design and implement innovative compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent, while ensuring fairness and inclusion.
  • Partner with C-suite leaders to provide strategic insights that inform business decisions and drive success.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and adapt our strategies to balance immediate needs with long-term success.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in total rewards, with a proven track record of leading reward strategies in global, high-growth public tech companies.
  • Deep expertise in compensation and benefits, including executive compensation, equity programs, and global benefits.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to connect reward strategies to business outcomes, people strategies, and financial performance.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
  • Global mindset, with the ability to design reward programs that resonate across diverse markets and cultures.
