About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to shape Canva's global rewards strategy, leading and growing a high-performing team, innovating compensation and benefits, partnering with leadership to drive success, and championing fairness and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities- Shaping Canva's global rewards strategy, ensuring it aligns with our mission and business goals while keeping our team excited and motivated.
- Leading and growing a high-performing team, inspiring, coaching, and developing our talented reward managers and analysts.
- Innovating compensation and benefits, bringing your expertise to design reward programs that reflect the diversity of our global team and keep us ahead of the curve in a constantly evolving market.
- Partnering with leadership to drive success, collaborating with C-suite leaders to offer strategic insights that directly impact business decisions and help us attract and retain top talent.
- Championing fairness and inclusion, ensuring our reward practices support our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, making sure every Canvanaut feels valued.
- Staying ahead of market trends, anticipating changes in the industry, adapting our strategies to balance immediate needs with long-term success, and representing Canva's thought leadership in the rewards space.
- Extensive experience in total rewards, with a proven track record of leading reward strategies in global, high-growth public tech companies.
- Deep expertise in compensation and benefits, including executive compensation, equity programs, and global benefits.
- Strong business acumen, connecting reward strategies to business outcomes, people strategies, and financial performance.
- Excellent leadership skills, experienced in managing and developing high-performing teams and coaching individuals to thrive.
- Global mindset, adept at designing reward programs that resonate across diverse markets and cultures.
- Confident communication and influencing skills, able to present to and advise C-suite executives and board members.
