About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our Indirect Global Strategic Sourcing team at Aristocrat. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and executing project-based sourcing strategies across a cluster of indirect spend categories, with a primary focus in the IT category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop smart, innovative procurement strategies
  • Manage vendor relationships and lead complex RFx processes, from identifying business needs to selecting top-tier suppliers
  • Negotiate directly with suppliers, ensuring we get the best value without compromising quality
  • Build strong, lasting partnerships with internal teams, driving business results that exceed expectations
  • Keep our procurement contracts and agreements running smoothly and ensure purchase orders are properly initiated
  • Stay ahead of industry trends by continuously enhancing your knowledge of the supply market and supplier capabilities
  • Partner with the analytics team to uncover key insights about spending, contracts, and procurement strategies
What We're Looking For
  • A procurement pro with significant experience in indirect sourcing or category management within large, complex organizations
  • Expertise in the IT category, with knowledge spanning SAAS, hardware, telco, and more
  • A knack for structuring deals and delivering commercial solutions that delight stakeholders
  • Negotiation and influencing skills that are second to none, and the ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments
  • A natural leader, able to guide cross-functional teams toward success
  • A relationship builder, with excellent interpersonal skills and a deep commitment to stakeholder engagement
  • A strategic thinker with a head for solving commercial problems and a keen eye for business
  • Tertiary qualifications – Bachelor of Business, Commerce, Finance or Supply Chain or related is desirable
