About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Property Development Lawyer to join our team, bringing expertise in large-scale corporate transactions and property law.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 5 years of PQE experience, working on complex investment transactions and managing legal risks. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to our residential living investment team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support land acquisition and due diligence activities by reviewing confidentiality agreements and managing property due diligence
  • Contribute to the negotiation of transaction and development rights documentation in collaboration with external counsel
  • Assist in structuring joint venture arrangements, including preparing term sheets and conducting legal due diligence on prospective partners
  • Manage external legal counsel and provide timely, commercial legal advice to the business
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience working as a property development lawyer and/or corporate transactional lawyer with property law experience
  • Current Practicing Certification
  • Tertiary qualifications and qualified to practice law in an Australian jurisdiction
  • Experience negotiating joint venture agreements associated with property development
