Our client is a long established, boutique specialist law firm with their head office in Melbourne CBD.
They are seeking an experienced Property Lawyer to join their Niddrie office located in the Northern / Western suburbs.
The location is convenient, close to public transport (trains, trams & buses) with over 100 shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby
The firm has a strong reputation for attracting quality clients, comparable to larger city-based firms.
Many of their lawyers have previously worked at reputable law firms and have joined them seeking better work/life balance without compromising their career prospects or the opportunity to work on varied, challenging matters.
In this role, you will handle a broad range of property and commercial matters including:
Property acquisitions & disposals
Commercial & Residential developments
Commercial & Retail Leasing
Advice on corporate and trust structures for property transactions
Structuring, negotiating, and preparing joint venture, profit sharing, finance agreements, and other commercial agreements
Planning law
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous experience in commercial property matters, ideally within a reputable law firm or boutique practice.
Exposure to commercial law issues is highly regarded.
Possess strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
Be able to understand clients' commercial needs with a strong client focus.
Have excellent communication skills at all levels.
Be capable of multitasking and managing competing priorities.
