Our client is a long established, boutique specialist law firm with their head office in Melbourne CBD. They are seeking an experienced Property Lawyer to join their Niddrie office located in the Northern / Western suburbs. The location is convenient, close to public transport (trains, trams & buses) with over 100 shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby

The firm has a strong reputation for attracting quality clients, comparable to larger city-based firms. Many of their lawyers have previously worked at reputable law firms and have joined them seeking better work/life balance without compromising their career prospects or the opportunity to work on varied, challenging matters.

In this role, you will handle a broad range of property and commercial matters including:

  • Property acquisitions & disposals
  • Commercial & Residential developments
  • Commercial & Retail Leasing
  • Advice on corporate and trust structures for property transactions
  • Structuring, negotiating, and preparing joint venture, profit sharing, finance agreements, and other commercial agreements
  • Planning law

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in commercial property matters, ideally within a reputable law firm or boutique practice. Exposure to commercial law issues is highly regarded.
  • Possess strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
  • Be able to understand clients' commercial needs with a strong client focus.
  • Have excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Be capable of multitasking and managing competing priorities.
