Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned and experienced Senior Property Lawyer to join our Property and Developments team in Melbourne.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to build on their skillset and take their career to the next level. You will have direct access to Partners and senior Lawyers, as well as the benefit of strong secretarial support.

Daily Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Managing conveyancing and property settlements across Victoria through the PEXA platform
  • Preparing, negotiating, and reviewing commercial leases, agreements for lease, licences, and related documents
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts of sale and related documents (including caveats and s27 statements) for residential and commercial properties
  • Lodging plans through the SPEAR platform
  • Conducting legal research and advising on a broad range of property-related matters
  • Assisting with financial settlements across Victoria
  • Assisting with due diligence for property and commercial transactions
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will be an admitted Lawyer with at least 2 years' post-admission experience in property law. Your commitment to providing exceptional client service will be of great importance. You will also need to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, a commercial mindset, and the ability to work well both in a team and autonomously.
