As a Building Compliance Expert – Fire Safety Lead at WSP, you will be responsible for conducting thorough fire safety assessments and audits, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and standards. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the success of our Property Compliance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting fire safety measure audits, facilitating systems interface tests, and completing Annual Essential Safety Measures Reports.
  • Servicing clients across various property profiles, including commercial, retail, warehouse, and industrial facilities.
  • Managing and delivering assigned projects to meet defined objectives, timeframes, budgets, and quality assurance standards.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert, communicating high-quality technical information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contributing to the region's business pipeline, ensuring revenue targets are achieved through proactive client relationships and project management.

About You:

We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in auditing essential fire safety measures. A sound knowledge of AS1851, the BCA, and legacy codes and standards applicable to building fire safety is essential. Other key attributes include excellent interpersonal, project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and focus on clients.
