About the Role

We're looking for an individual with a comprehensive background in the banking industry to provide insightful advice to Business Banking product and distribution teams regarding regulatory and compliance obligations applicable to their business activities. This role will be subject matter expert in the obligations and related policies, standards, and procedures relevant to Business Banking.

The successful candidate will contribute to the execution of the Business Bank's compliance and risk management strategies by providing guidance and insights to Business Banking on Compliance Management best practices and various elements of the Compliance Management Framework and related policies, standards, and procedures.

This includes investigating and overseeing Issue Management, Incident Management, Regulatory Change and Engagement, Risk and Controls, Obligations Management, and Compliance Reporting. You will also implement and embed framework changes across the Group by gaining appropriate buy-in and sign-off and building excellent stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing insightful advice to Business Banking product and distribution teams regarding regulatory and compliance obligations applicable to their business activities.
  • Contributing to the execution of the Business Bank's compliance and risk management strategies.
  • Investigating and overseeing Issue Management, Incident Management, Regulatory Change and Engagement, Risk and Controls, Obligations Management, and Compliance Reporting.
Requirements
  • A comprehensive background in the banking industry.
  • Sound knowledge of licensing and regulatory obligations, with specific knowledge in Business Banking desirable.
  • Good insights and judgment, with a working knowledge of risks and issues that impact customers.
