About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Automotive Panel Technician to join our team in Western Sydney. This is a full-time opportunity with a salary range of $103,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
Salary and Benefits- $103,000 - $115,000 per annum
- $37.31 to $41.96 per hour, depending on skills and experience
- Attendance allowance of $32 paid daily
- Overtime opportunities
- Annual leave loading of 17.5%
- Weekly tool allowance provided in addition to hourly rate
The successful candidate will have relevant trade qualifications and at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for preparing and cleaning surfaces for paint application, removing and repairing damaged panels, and maintaining spray-painting equipment and tools.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake preparation and cleaning of all surfaces prior to paint application
- Remove, repair, and replace allocated panels that are damaged
- Maintain all spray-painting equipment and tools provided by the company
- Provide body structural, accident damage, and associated repairs, service, and maintenance to vehicles as required
- Provide maintenance, preparation, replacement, and repairs to vehicle body components, panels, frames, and door systems
- Demonstrate and maintain clean workshop practices
