Senior Operations Executive Position

This is an exciting opportunity to lead day-to-day operations at a prestigious venue, one of Australia's most iconic landmarks. As the Senior Operations Executive, you will oversee all facets of business operations, including managing multiple event spaces, coordinating with stakeholders and partners, and maintaining high standards of service excellence and operational efficiency.

The venue has hosted defining events in the city's history, and this role supports delivering memorable experiences through high-quality food and beverage concepts, innovation, and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple event spaces and coordinate with stakeholders and partners
  • Maintain high standards of service excellence and operational efficiency
  • Oversee front-of-house and back-of-house operations in collaboration with event teams
  • Plan and execute large-scale events (weddings, galas, corporate events, exhibitions, etc.)
  • Ensure effective resource management and financial acumen
Requirements
  • Senior operational leadership experience in premium high-volume catering environments
  • Experience managing large food and beverage teams
  • Willingness to be hands-on in event delivery as required
  • Knowledge of front-of-house and back-of-house operations
  • Experience with major event planning and venue logistics
  • Strong planning and organization skills with keen attention to detail
  • Desire to stay abreast of current and future trends
  • Calm, professional demeanor; ability to inspire and develop a cohesive team
  • Ability to foster a culture of respect and drive creativity
  • Developed financial acumen
  • Management qualifications will be well regarded
  • Flexibility to work a variety of hours to support event delivery
