The Northern Territory Government seeks a Clinical Specialist to deliver expert care and education, improving chronic condition management in remote NT communities.
The RoleThis position provides specialist clinical outreach care to remote clients and supports Primary and Public Health Care staff with the goal of enhancing outcomes in early detection and management of preventable chronic conditions.
- Comprehensive client care and case management through assessment, planning, review, evaluation, and coordination.
- Professional advice and decision-making skills are essential.
- Current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or eligible for same.
- Advanced clinical knowledge and skills in Preventable Chronic Conditions or related field are required.
- A commitment to lifelong learning through clinical guidance and mentoring is expected.
- Ability to travel to remote communities by 4WD or light aircraft as needed.
