Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Chef Assistant to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef with daily operational aspects of the kitchen and related outlets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking meals, ensuring high-quality dishes are delivered to our guests.
  • Operate commercial cooking equipment, including mixers, steamers, fryers, ovens, and stoves, to maintain a high level of culinary excellence.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to food safety requirements and company standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas, taking into account seasonal ingredients and guest preferences.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and optimize food costs to maintain profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute special events, such as weddings and corporate functions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest feedback and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hotel kitchen, preferably in a senior role.
  • Knowledge of food safety requirements and HACCP protocols.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor in fast-paced environments.
