Key Responsibilities
  • Station Management: Ensure the smooth execution of your allocated work-station, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the senior kitchen team to achieve seamless service delivery and maintain a positive team dynamic.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately advise management of all stock requirements, ensuring minimal waste and optimal inventory levels.
  • Mentorship: Conduct on-the-job training and mentoring for Cooks and Apprentice Chefs, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements
  • Certificate in Commercial Cookery: Hold a recognized certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent qualification.
  • Work Rights and Availability: Possess full work rights and be available to work a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Previous Experience: Demonstrate previous experience working in a busy and fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Showcase the ability to effectively coordinate and work as part of a team, with a 'can-do' attitude and willingness to learn new cuisines and techniques.
