The estimated annual salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000, depending on experience. Job Description

This Business Development Executive, Mid-Market role at American Express involves leading the way in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with corporate clients. Utilizing an entrepreneurial mindset and consultative approach, you will build relationships and deliver value to customers, helping the company become a crucial part of their lives.


Responsibilities
  • Pipeline management, including self-generated leads, cold calls, follow-up calls, emails, etc.
  • Providing American Express expense management solutions to companies through understanding the prospects' business and identifying potential opportunities.
  • Selling corporate solutions to clients across various industries.
  • Coordinating with internal teams to deliver on our promise.

Requirements
  • Consultative B2B selling experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals in a phone sales environment.
  • Experience in acquisition and B2B corporate sales.
  • Proven ability to hunt new business, generate self-leds and referrals, as well as demonstrated skill in networking, collaboration, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, relationship building experience, and ability to execute successful sales strategies.
  • Ability to engage and gain commitment effectively across all communication platforms (via telephone, email, social media & face-to-face).
