Event Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to join our team. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent organizational and communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering a wide range of events including weddings, social functions, conferences, and corporate gatherings.

  • Plan and deliver events from start to finish, ensuring every detail is taken care of.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Develop event plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage on-the-day operations and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position that requires flexibility and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and event-driven schedules as required.
  • You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of vendors and suppliers to create memorable guest experiences.
  • We are looking for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and able to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement event strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Manage event budgets and report on financial performance.
  • Coordinate logistics and arrangements for events, including venue selection, catering, and entertainment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

  • You will have proven experience in event coordination, ideally with a strong background in weddings and/or hospitality.
  • You will possess exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • You will be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • You will have a creative approach to problem-solving and be able to think outside the box.
  • You will be flexible and willing to work varied hours as required.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Hospitality, Events, or related field.
  • Proven track record in event coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
