Job Summary:

As a seasoned Contract Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our contract delivery for Energy QLD. This strategic position is accountable for financial performance, client relationship management, and operational delivery.

  • Complete accountability for financial performance including Profit and Loss statements, forecasting, budgets, and regular reporting
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior client representatives
  • Oversight of field operations, resource allocation, and subcontractor management
  • Leadership, mentorship, and development of operational teams, with succession planning in place
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial, operational, and safety performance
  • Maintain contract compliance and resolve client issues in a timely manner

The following attributes are required to be successful in this role:

  • 5+ years of experience in contract or project management within a mid-large organisation
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen, with experience in Profit and Loss accountability and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with senior clients and stakeholders on contractual and operational matters
  • Proven people management and leadership capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in negotiation and decision-making
  • Industry experience in Vegetation Management (advantageous)
