Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Contracts Manager to lead our contract delivery for Energy QLD (Energex) in Narangba. This pivotal role is accountable for financial performance, client relationship management, and operational delivery.

You will oversee budgets, reporting, and profitability while engaging with senior client stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance and service excellence.

As a Contracts Manager at ETS, you'll be responsible for achieving strong financial outcomes, driving business growth, and maintaining proactive client partnerships.

You will act as the senior point of contact for contractual and operational matters, supported by the General Manager and a dedicated operational team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full accountability for financial performance including profit and loss statements, forecasting, budgets, and reporting
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client representatives
  • Oversee field operations, resourcing, and subcontractor management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop operational teams, with succession planning in place
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial, operational, and safety performance
  • Maintain contract compliance and deliver timely resolution of client issues
Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience in contract or project management within a mid-large organisation
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen, with experience in profit and loss accountability and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with senior clients and stakeholders on contractual and operational matters
  • Proven people management and leadership capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence in negotiation and decision making
  • Industry experience in Vegetation Management is advantageous
