
Contracts Manager

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager based out of our Narangba office to lead our contract delivery for Energy QLD (Energex) for the trimming and clearing of the vegetation around powerlines. This pivotal role is accountable for financial performance, client relationship management, and operational delivery. You will oversee budgets, reporting, and profitability while engaging with senior client stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance and service excellence.
As a Contracts Manager at ETS, you'll be responsible for achieving strong financial outcomes, driving business growth, and maintaining proactive client partnerships. You will act as the senior point of contact for contractual and operational matters, supported by the General Manager and a dedicated operational team.
You will be responsible for tasks, including but not limited to:
Responsibilities- Full accountability for financial performance including P&L, forecasting, budgets and reporting
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client representatives
- Oversee field operations, resourcing and subcontractor management
- Lead, mentor and develop operational teams, with succession planning in place
- Drive continuous improvement in financial, operational and safety performance
- Maintain contract compliance and deliver timely resolution of client issues
- 5+ years experience in contract or project management within a mid-large organisation
- Strong financial and analytical acumen, with experience in P&L accountability and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to engage with senior clients and stakeholders on contractual and operational matters
- Proven people management and leadership capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence in negotiation and decision making
- Industry experience in Vegetation Management (advantageous)
