Troocoo is partnering with St Peters Lutheran College to fill a critical role in their Human Resources department.

Job Description:

The Senior HR Advisor will play a key part in supporting the college's HR operations and strategic direction. They will provide expert HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • HR Advisory Services: Provide expert HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle
  • Cyclical HR Processes: Manage contract management, compliance reporting, and award interpretation
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, NES, and relevant industrial instruments
  • Leadership: Lead and guide HR staff to deliver high-quality and consistent service
  • Employee Relations: Advise and support leaders on performance concerns, investigations, and workplace conflict resolution
  • Strategic Partnership: Partner with stakeholders to ensure people practices align with college objectives and regulatory obligations
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with best practice and legislative changes
About You:
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a senior HR advisory or business partnering capacity, preferably within education or similarly complex sectors
  • Skills: In-depth understanding of Australian employment law, ER/IR frameworks, and compliance requirements; demonstrated success in leading and mentoring HR professionals
  • Educational Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline
