About the Position
  • Provide expert human resources advice, coaching, and support to production managers, supervisors, and employees
  • Implement strategies to maintain adequate manning levels for the business
  • Ensure adherence to legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Lead investigations and performance management processes
  • Monitor trends in attendance, absenteeism, and turnover
  • Evaluate employee relations
  • Update and maintain comprehensive HR records
  • Ensure employee safety and compliance with workplace health and safety legislation
About You
  • Relevant human resources qualifications advantageous but not essential
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to facilitate difficult conversations
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to influence and improve business processes
  • Ability to foster professional working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Flexibility to work day or night shifts on a 38-hour week; Monday to Thursday (flexibility essential)
  • Australian working rights required
  • Intermediate computer skills specifically within Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
