Job Overview:

The Complex Task Manager is responsible for managing complex tasks across a matrixed organization, fostering collaboration with diverse teams to systematically solve problems and demonstrate leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all assigned tasks within the Operations Team, ensuring that all task goals are achieved, and customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain and improve customer/client satisfaction through effective planning, control, and reporting of tasks.
  • Coordinate task deliverables as per requirements and provide key communication and stakeholder engagement and management for assigned tasks.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A tertiary or trade qualification relevant to aircraft maintenance.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a defence aviation maintenance environment.
  • Tertiary qualification in project management or equivalent.
  • Proven understanding of the defence environment with a minimum of 2 years' experience in project management and/or engineering/maintenance on defence sustainment support projects.
  • High standard of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance.
  • Ability to meet the requirements of Raytheon Certified PM Ready or Leading at Level 5 in Acquisition and Sustainment.
  • Understanding of financial cost control using earned value principles.
