Nursing Professional for Women and Children

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Nursing and Midwifery team at the Women's and Children's Health Network.
As a Registered Nurse/Midwife, you will be responsible for providing nursing and/or midwifery services in health service settings, developing from novice practitioners to a proficient level of professional practice, and consolidating knowledge and skills through continuous professional development and experience.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and/or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
- Effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing consumer/client and family centred care.
- Knowledge and understanding of the role of the Registered General Nurse/Midwife within a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, industrial agreements, standards, codes, ethics and competency standards.
We offer a competitive salary package up to $62.51 per hour, plus a range of benefits including living expenses such as mortgage, rent, utility bills and groceries up to $9,010 each FBT year + $2,650 for Meal Entertainment expenses each FBT year.
