Project Engineer/Coordinator Opportunity
Boral Asphalt is seeking a responsible and experienced individual to manage and coordinate asphalt projects in Rockhampton. Reporting to the Area Manager – Asphalt, you will be responsible for effectively managing and coordinating asphalt projects whilst ensuring construction exceeds standards and legislation, minimising risk and ensuring that Boral meets performance expectations.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Planning and scheduling of day-to-day activities to meet project milestones
- Liaising and working closely with contracting teams and site personnel to deliver performance outcomes
- Effectively apply terms of the contract in maximizing value
- Monitoring of supplier & subcontractor performance
- Provide engineering support to management as required
What We're Looking For
- Proven ability with similar experience in civil roles
- Contractor management experience
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
- Knowledge and understanding of project management methodology
- Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills and Project
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with all people, and to lead and influence people
- Personal drive and results-orientation
