Renewable Energy Community Outreach Coordinator

About the Role
The onsite Renewable Energy Community Outreach Coordinator will play a crucial role in the construction of Iberdrola Australia's largest solar and BESS project located near Rockhampton in Central Queensland.
The coordinator will work closely with the Principal Contractor's community outreach team, the Iberdrola Project stakeholders, and the Workers Camp Accommodation Operations Manager to ensure and promote the communication, consultation, and engagement of relevant stakeholders during the construction of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and coordinate the delivery of community outreach events and programs, including internal and external relationship management.
- Plan, develop, and implement community outreach and stakeholder engagement plans.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with landholders, project neighbors, community groups, and project stakeholders throughout the construction of the project.
- Promote Cultural Awareness, Employment, and Procurement Opportunities between Iberdrola Principal Contractors and Traditional Owners.
- Work with camp operators to ensure day-to-day operations run effectively.
- Promote wellness initiatives for workers in the camp.
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, it is expected you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in public relations or stakeholder management or similar degree.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management or communications on large infrastructure projects.
- Exceptional relationship management skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised and thrive within a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience working a FIFO/DIDO roster and living and working in a construction environment.
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum
