Job Summary

BESIX Watpac is seeking a skilled Foreman to join our team in Rockhampton to deliver a large processing facility project.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Organize on-site activities to ensure access to work faces for materials and equipment, coordinating materials, equipment, personnel, and plant handling.
  • In consultation with the Project Manager, allocate site resources and confirm availability when required.
  • Review the construction program with the Project Manager, resequencing activities as necessary to achieve the programmed completion date.
  • Implement and enforce the Company's policies and practices on safety, industrial relations, and quality assurance at the work site.
  • Ensure quality and compliance with standards and contract documents.

Qualifications

The incumbent in this role requires:

  • Relevant trade qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering construction projects.
  • Ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to build and lead an effective, results-driven team.
  • Ability to deliver results in a high-pressure environment.
