Payroll Team Lead

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a team of payroll officers, providing quality service and ensuring efficient processing of payroll transactions.

  • Lead a team of payroll officers, focusing on customer satisfaction and process improvement.
  • Manage daily tasks and ensure timely completion within agreed timeframes.
  • Provide expert guidance and support on complex payroll requests.

As a temporary position, this hybrid role requires in-office presence 2-3 days a week, subject to applicable workplace policies. The salary for this position starts at $99,938 base plus superannuation.

About You:
  • Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably with SAP knowledge, working in a shared services environment.
  • Leadership skills, demonstrated by managing high work volumes during peak times, with a focus on team performance.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information effectively.
  • Comprehensive understanding of NSW Government payroll awards and legislation.
