The role of Senior Service Officer - Payroll involves providing payroll services to government employees in a fast-paced team environment.
This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to lead a team of payroll officers and ensure quality service to customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team to deliver high-quality payroll services
- Ensuring efficient payroll processing and timely delivery
- Developing and implementing payroll processes and procedures
Strong relationships with stakeholders are essential for this role. You will need to communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and external parties to achieve organisational goals.
A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is preferred. However, significant experience in payroll management can also be considered as an alternative.
