Asset Information Officer Position Summary

The role of an Asset Information Officer is pivotal in maintaining the accuracy and currency of asset data across various departments.

To be successful, you will have a strong background in asset management, with a focus on ensuring the integrity of asset data.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of assets, including roads, drainage, open space, facilities, and plant & equipment.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the Asset Management Information System (AMIS).
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to staff on asset-related matters.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification relevant to the position, such as a Bachelor of Science, Engineering, or Information Management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of corporate asset management systems.
  • Experience working with Corporate GIS systems and AMIS platforms.
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
