Role Overview
We are seeking a senior compliance professional to join our legal and compliance team in an institutional property fund. The role will involve designing, implementing and overseeing group-wide compliance plans and controls.
The ideal candidate will have practical experience in funds management and be able to design and implement compliance frameworks within complex organisations with various asset holding structures including trusts and managed investment schemes.
About the Role
- Design and implement compliance frameworks for various managed investment schemes, trusts and joint venture structures, including AFSL compliance plans, managing entity and trustee duties and structure-based controls.
- Manage FIRB, AML/CTF, Modern Slavery, GS007 and FATCA/CRS compliance and reporting.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors in relation to compliance audits.
- Board, Board Committee, management, investor and regulatory compliance reporting.
About You
You will be a hands-on, senior compliance professional with experience in funds management. Property industry or REIT experience would be an advantage. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
