Job Description

We are seeking a skilled commercial contracting lawyer to join our team. As a commercial contracting lawyer, you will be responsible for drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with suppliers and service providers, as well as providing legal advice on competition and consumer law, privacy, product safety, quality and labelling.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in general commercial contracting
  • Strong general commercial expertise and exposure to a wide range of industries, including financial services, FMCG, energy and resources, government and public sector, construction and infrastructure, education, hotels, leisure and gaming, mining, TMT and transport
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with suppliers and service providers
  • Providing legal advice on competition and consumer law, privacy, product safety, quality and labelling
  • M&A experience, particularly involvement in the integration of new companies/businesses into existing corporate structures, as well as joint venture experience
  • Procurement experience is highly sought after
  • Senior stakeholder management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise
