Leadership Position in Mining Operations

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role within our mining team. We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to oversee the day-to-day activities of our miners and ensure that production targets are met safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team of miners to achieve optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and protocols.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational performance and minimize costs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in the mining industry.
  • C Class Manual licence.
  • Order 43 qualification.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication and organizational abilities, and a thorough understanding of the Mines Safety Act and Regulations. Experience in coal mining is desirable but not essential. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading, developing, and mentoring their crew to achieve production targets and ensure a safe working environment.
