We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Support Professional to join our team at The University of Notre Dame Australia.

About the Role

This position is responsible for providing effective and efficient laboratory support to the School of Health Sciences. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with academic and professional colleagues to prepare, set up, and pack down the laboratory/teaching space and classroom materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination and organization of resources required for learning and teaching activities.
  • Provide technical advice, support, and instruction for learning and teaching activities.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of equipment and workspaces.
  • Maintain stock, including the storage and handling of hazardous substances.
  • Conduct routine risk assessments and report outcomes.

Requirements

  • Completion of a diploma level qualification with relevant work experience.
  • Laboratory experience, including laboratory methods.
  • Developed communication skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Demonstrated operational, organizational, and administration skills.
