Electoral Ambassador

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Electoral Assistants for the upcoming State election in 2025. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of polling places across Western Australia.

• This is a temporary opportunity, with various roles available, including Issuing Officer, Student Electoral Officer, Voter Information Officer, General Assistant, Ballot Box Guard, and Queue Controller.
• You will be responsible for assisting with the setup and operation of polling places, ensuring the accurate distribution of ballot papers, and maintaining the integrity of the electoral process.
• As a team player, you will work closely with other Electoral Assistants and members of the community to ensure a positive and inclusive voting experience.

Estimated Salary: AU$25 - AU$35 per hour (dependent on level and location)

• You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• You will be reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
• You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• You may be required to work at heights, lift heavy equipment, or stand for long periods.
