Job Opportunity: Director of IT Risk and Compliance

About the Role:

This is a senior leadership position overseeing the management of IT risk and compliance across our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of risk and compliance professionals to ensure effective risk controls are in place throughout the technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the risk management and advisory teams to ensure regulatory compliance requirements are met.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders promoting a strong risk culture.
  • Oversee risk management activities including controls testing, incident and issue management.
  • Drive strategic risk reporting and governance to support executive decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and manage risks associated with outsourcing and IT resiliency.
Requirements:
  • Multiple years of experience in a similar risk-related role.
  • Demonstrable stakeholder management experience and ability to engage and influence across business areas.
  • Proven leadership and development of high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of operational and IT resiliency, data and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Knowledge and experience in superannuation/wealth and financial services industry advantageous.
