The Royal Women's Hospital seeks a Consumer Liaison officer to provide a patient and consumer-centred liaison service.

About the Role
  • Liaise and work with consumers to identify concerns and questions, and develop plans for resolution
  • Proactively liaise and collaborate with appropriate staff or managers within timeframes to address patient questions, concerns and expectations
  • Record and collate data
  • Liaise with the Health Complaints Commissioner and Safer Care Victoria to negotiate outcomes to complex complaints

This role is part of the Quality and Safety Unit, contributing to the achievement of the Women's strategic plan and positioning the Women's as a leader in quality, safety and clinical excellence.

  • Strong patient/consumer outcomes focus and active listening skills

  • Capacity to work in a busy environment with demonstrated skills in time management, working with completing priorities and ability to manage a caseload
