We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join The Royal Melbourne Hospital as a Patient Liaison Officer (PLO).
Position: Patient Liaison Officer Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia (RMH)ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Patient Liaison Manager - Revenue Services, work closely with patients, families, clinical and administration teams across the Emergency Department (ED) and wards.Encourage private and compensable admissions; classify patients with eligible health funds or third party cover (e.g., TAC & Workcover) in a timely and appropriate manner.Identify insurance status for Medicare Ineligible Patients (Overseas Visitors).
