Addiction and Mental Health Support Worker

As a support worker in the addiction and mental health sector, you will be working with individuals who are struggling with substance use, mental illness, and other complex needs. Your role will be to provide one-to-one support services that cater to each client's unique requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and resilience. You will need to work effectively within a team environment and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Certificate IV in Addiction and Mental Health or equivalent qualification
- At least 1 year of experience in providing one-to-one support services for individuals with complex needs
- Demonstrated ability to undertake comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including report writing and case note documentation
