PartnerNCare is seeking proactive and dedicated Mental Health support workers that can support our participants with various complex psychosocial mental health support needs. Your role as a Mental health Support Worker may involve assistance to access the community, group activities, personal care and companionship, maintaining relationships and transportation and withdrawal services seeking to address their alcohol and or other drugs addiction. The Mental Health Support Worker has a vital role in assisting participants to achieve their NDIS plan goals.

You will support mental health client participating with withdrawal service and or, who are seeking to address their addiction to alcohol and/or other drugs.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of Cert III or IV in Mental Health/Disability/Community Services or above with minimum of 1-2 years of industry experience
- Demonstrated experience working with intellectual disability and complex clients is a must
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate, WWC and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Knowledge in Complex Mental Health, Social anxiety, Mood affective disorders, Schizophrenia, Challenging physical and verbal aggression & behaviours, Trauma, Paranoia Depression and other Mental Health issues
- Valid Full drivers licence and reliable transport
- Passion and commitment to provide services for those with a disability or mental illness
- Mobile phone with internet access, the right to work in Australia & able to provide 100 points of ID
- Mental heath first aid is desirable

Attractive packages $33-40 per hour casual rate excluding super l depending on experience.

- National Police Certificate (preferred)
