Job Description

This traineeship opportunity is designed to launch your career in addiction and mental health services.

As a trainee, you will engage with clients and support their recovery goals, shadow experienced staff, and participate in group facilitation. You will also complete case notes, assessments, and referrals, and participate in self-directed learning, workshops, and supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients and provide individualized support
  • Shadow experienced staff and develop skills in group facilitation
  • Complete accurate and timely case notes, assessments, and referrals
  • Participate in ongoing education and training, including workshops and supervision
  • Support community engagement and program evaluation
Requirements
  • Enrolled in either a Certificate 4 or Diploma in Addiction and Mental Health Services, or a dual diagnosis qualification or addiction skill set
  • Victorian Driver's License
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and strong administrative skills
