Rehabilitation Activity Coordinator for Brain Injury Patients

Central Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a skilled Recreation Co-ordinator to join its dynamic team in the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit.
About the RoleIn this pivotal position, you will play a key role in delivering tailored recreation services to patients, promoting recovery and enhancing their ability to live fulfilling lives. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll collaborate with patients and their families from diverse cultural backgrounds, designing activities that cater to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement creative recreational programs to facilitate patient rehabilitation
- Provide clinical support and supervision to Recreation Officers, ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to design patient-centered care plans
- Proven experience working with adults with neurological conditions, brain injuries, and within interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams
- Sound understanding of rehabilitation principles and adherence to relevant legislation
- Excellent communication, report-writing skills, and physical capability to perform a wide range of duties
