Key Psychologist Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive educational community.

The successful candidate will provide evidence-based psychological services to students, conduct assessments, and develop strategies for students with learning, behavioural, and emotional challenges.

They will collaborate with teaching staff to support student learning and well-being plans, deliver workshops or presentations on mental health and resilience, and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and Christ-centred school culture.

The ideal candidate will have full registration as a Psychologist, experience working with children and adolescents, strong knowledge of child development, mental health challenges, and learning difficulties.

They will possess excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork skills, flexibility to work across two campuses, and be a committed Christian.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality psychological services to K-12 students.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective strategies for students with learning, behavioural, and emotional challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with teaching staff to support student learning and well-being plans.
  • Deliver engaging workshops or presentations on mental health and resilience.
  • Support crisis intervention when needed.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and Christ-centred school culture.
Requirements:
  • Full registration as a Psychologist with the relevant national regulatory authority.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, mental health challenges, and learning difficulties.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work across two campuses as required.
  • Committed Christian, active in their church and able to subscribe to the College's Confession of Faith found on our website.
