Support Student Well-being and Personal Development

We are seeking an experienced mental health professional to join our educational community. This permanent role will be based across two campuses of our K-12 Christian school.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in promoting students' mental health and well-being. Their work will include individual counselling, group sessions, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to support student development.

  • Provide evidence-based psychological services to K-12 students.
  • Conduct assessments and develop strategies for students with learning, behavioural, and emotional challenges.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to support student learning and well-being plans.
  • Deliver workshops or presentations for students, parents, and staff on mental health and resilience.
  • Support crisis intervention when needed.
Key Selection Criteria
  • APAC-accredited postgraduate qualification in psychology, meeting the requirements for general registration as a psychologist in Australia.
  • Recognised qualification in Counselling, meeting the requirements for membership of the Australian Counselling Association.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, mental health challenges, and learning difficulties.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work across two campuses as required.
  • Committed Christian, active in your church and can subscribe to the College's Confession of Faith.
