Safer Pathways Specialist Worker

CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Safer Pathways Specialist Worker to join our team. As part of the Safer Pathway Program, you will play a vital role in providing support to male victim-survivors of domestic and family violence.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to referrals and engage with participants using a person-centred approach.
- Triage and assess needs to provide case coordination and/or case management.
- Deliver high-quality case coordination and case management, working with participants in a capacity-building approach.
- Provide holistic assessment, case planning, and trauma-informed casework to develop strengths-based safety plans.
- Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure effective service referral pathways.
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, or Diploma with 2+ years of experience in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience working with and engaging with men.
- Knowledge of current legislation, including the Child Protection, Crimes (Domestic and Personal Violence) Act 2007.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the criminal justice response to domestic violence.
- Strong networking and advocacy skills, case planning, and note-taking.
