Job Title: Infrastructure Development Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Infrastructure Development Engineer to join our team. This role will support the redevelopment of existing infrastructure and facilities in the Riverina region.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with experience in project management, design, fabrication, and construction. They will also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in the preconstruction, construction, and post-construction stages of projects.
  • Provide engineering expertise in the design, fabrication, and construction of projects to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage contracting operations for various allocated projects against agreed objectives.
  • Undertake scoping investigations for scopes of work.
  • Prepare and compile site documentation prior to the commencement of works.
  • Coordinate and supervise work activities of multiple crews over various work locations.
  • Monitor and control expenditure on jobs to ensure cost-effective completion of projects.

Qualifications:

  • Australian Citizenship is preferred for Defence site entry requirements.
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree or similar.
  • Graduate Member of Institution of Engineers Australia (IEAust) or Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ).
  • Previous experience as a site engineer or graduate engineer in a related industry sector.
  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
  • Demonstrated ability to work productively in a team environment.
