Site Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team on the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture project. This exciting opportunity will involve working on major upgrades and replacements of existing infrastructure and facilities in the Albury Wodonga Military Area, Blamey Barracks (Kapooka), and RAAF Base Wagga.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Project Engineer/Project Manager to deliver projects across preconstruction, construction, and post-construction stages.
  • Provide engineering expertise in design, fabrication, and construction to ensure successful project delivery according to clients' expectations and safety, quality, time, and cost objectives.
  • Manage contracting operations for allocated projects against agreed objectives.
  • Conduct scoping investigations for scopes of work.
  • Prepare and compile site documentation before project commencement.
  • Coordinate and supervise work activities of multiple crews across various locations in the Riverina region.
  • Monitor and control expenditure on jobs to achieve cost-effective project completion.
  • Review HOTO documentation, including drawings, ITPs, and images recorded for each project.
Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship preferred for Defence site entry requirements.
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree or similar qualification.
  • Graduate membership of Institution of Engineers Australia (IEAust) or Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ).
  • Previous experience as a site engineer or graduate engineer in a related industry sector.
  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office applications skills (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to work productively in a team environment.
