Preconstruction Coordinator Job Opening

We are seeking a skilled Preconstruction Coordinator with experience in approvals to contribute to our successful projects.

This role is responsible for overseeing and managing building and planning approvals, liaising with councils, certifiers, and stakeholders to ensure timely project progression.

  • Prepare and submit building permits, development applications, and related approvals in a timely manner
  • Liaise with local councils, private certifiers, and authorities to meet compliance requirements
  • Coordinate supporting documentation from engineers, surveyors, and consultants
  • Collaborate with customer service and drafting teams to resolve approval issues efficiently
  • Provide administrative support for contracts and assist other internal teams as needed
About the Role:
  • Previous experience in Permits, Approvals, or Preconstruction roles within residential construction is essential
  • Detailed knowledge of council processes, building codes, and approval requirements is crucial
  • Contracts administration experience is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and confidence when interacting with external authorities are required
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving are necessary
