Job Overview:

This is a leadership role that involves managing and implementing effective Finance Risk Governance Forums within an organization. The Central Finance Integrated Controls and Monitoring Team supports the finance division in managing their Financial and Regulatory Reporting Risk and Control Frameworks through governance and monitoring.

The team's main goal is to support Central Finance and other business units by ensuring they have the necessary controls in place to manage financial risk.

This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive initiatives and monitor key risk indicators. It also involves supporting control owners in implementing policies and standards, as well as driving continuous improvement.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading process and control reviews, assessing issues for broader finance teams, and collaborating with Business Unit Integrated Controls & Monitoring Teams to improve controls.

A chartered accountant background with 7+ years of experience in a Financial Institution is required for this role, along with a thorough understanding of activities within a Finance function in a Financial Institution (financial reporting and regulatory reporting).

Experience or exposure to Risk and Control Advisory and Governance roles is also essential, as is strong communication skills with solid stakeholder management and influencing abilities, especially with senior stakeholders.

Confidence in presenting, memo, and report writing for senior audiences is also a must.
